Cait McMahan, LPC, LADAC II, is a licensed professional counselor, national certified counselor and advanced-level alcohol and drug counselor with a multidisciplinary background in athletics, media, and behavioral health.
She is a two-time national champion under legendary coach Pat Summitt and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, followed by a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lincoln Memorial University.
Cait integrates her diverse professional experiences into her clinical work, bringing a unique perspective shaped by her background in high-performance environments and public-facing roles, including four years as a DJ for ESPN’s College GameDay.
She currently provides outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services and is engaged in public speaking focused on mental health, recovery, and performance psychology within her community.
